You know what I’m talking about. It’s a list of people that you already know and have built a rapport with these people.  You are likely to make your first sale with people that you already know.  But here is where it gets tricky.

It’s not realistic to rely on this list to support your business.  And honestly, we are not taught to learn how to marketing our business so when it gets tough we begin to bug our family and friends to buy our products.

The internet has created new ways to start business from the comfort if your home. The power of the internet has allowed for people in non traditional businesses a way to connect with people who they would not normally meet in the grocery store line.

Let me guess! You are here because this is your first time joining a network marketing company and you thought your were going to fire your boss in 90 days but unfortunately it didn’t happen.

You probably was told by your upline that all you needed to do was make a list of family and friends, call them up and show them your video presentation, right?

Wrong! If only it was that easy we would all be top earners.

Let’s talk about this list for a second. The list you were asked to create is called a warm market prospect list and I think it’s the best place to start because you have a relationship with the people on this list.

People who you know are least skeptical and more likely to buy from you. But there is just one problem with this list of people.

You will eventually run through this list. And the last thing you want to do is start bugging the people on your list because this is the quickest way to join the NFL club, that is the “no friends left”. This is what happens when you get desperate?

Don’t revisit that list and stop bugging your family and friends to buy your products and join your opportunity. I don’t think this is a great way to grow your business long term because it’s just not effective marketing.

Before I began to market my MLM business online I wanted to lay a foundation first. There is some information that you must collect before you began putting your time and energy into marketing your MLM business.

The core foundation to marketing is knowing who you want to target. There is a saying that says, “marketing to everyone is like marketing to no one”.

Everyone is not a potential customer so you must define your target audience. Begin creating what is called an Avatar. That is your ideal customer.

How old are they? What are their hobbies? Are they single or married? What gender are they.  And what income range do they fall in. These are just a few to consider if you want to attract your ideal customer.

And lastly, it’s important to choose one marketing method to focus on at a time. With so many marketing platforms such as social media sites, blogging platforms, you can get overwhelmed with all the different places to market.

The ultimate hold back of your business is to get “shiny object syndrome” trying any and every new marketing strategy out there and never becoming an expert in one area.

And lastly, the most important thing you can do for yourself is to have the right training.  A lot of network marketers have no idea how to build a brand online and use attraction marketing to get sales and sign up.

They often time do what they see others online doing, which is not getting them any results.  This used to be me until I decided to get educated about marketing.

I suggest that you get a marketing training program that teaches you how to generate leads, build a brand, and offer the tools needed to run a profitable online business.

I wish I could have learned these tips a lot sooner with my online business. Use YouTube to create video tutorials. If you are afraid of getting in front of the camera don’t worry you can still benefit from creating videos on YouTube.

People are watching a lot of videos today. It’s almost better than watching T.V. so if you start creating YouTube videos you can generate a lot of leads this way.

I generate leads from YouTube by creating valuable content that I know helps to solve people problems. This is the best way to generate leads using YouTube videos.

Of course, you must create more than one video and you must learn how to promote your videos on YouTube.  And when this is done correctly, you can generate thousands of MLM leads with video.

Remember this, video helps people to get to know you, like you and trust you.

And that is because when you put yourself on camera, genuinely help someone and create videos continuously show up then people begin to trust you.  This is how I generate MLM leads with YouTube videos.

Give Valuable Information Using Blogging. You are on my blog because obviously you find the information, I provide to be unbelievably valuable.

And because this post is about generating the best network marketing leads online then I must say that blogging should be a strategy you use to drive traffic and get leads.

People are always searching online and if you can position yourself in front of the right people who are looking for what you have to offer then you can get leads, sales and sign ups.

Now, you must do the work.

Join Facebook Groups. If you don’t know what Facebooks groups can do for your MLM business, then let me explain. One of the great things about Facebook is that you can join groups that have a large amount if people catering to a specific demographic.

So, if you are looking for people interested in joining your home business then join Facebook groups that support network marketing business.

People in these groups connect with each other sharing idea, marketing strategies and even tips to grow your business. I must let you in on something.

If you are looking to attract interested people, please do not spam these groups with your sign-up links and product pictures. Most groups will kick you out if you do this anyway.  At least the groups that are “non-spam” groups.

Instead offer people for real MLM strategies that work who are looking to join or are already in network marketing.  The best way to learn how to generate leads on social media is to get the right training.

Visit your warm market. I probably don’t need to explain this one.  If you have joined a network marketing company than I’m 110% sure you approached your friends and family before you talked to anyone else about your MLM business.

Your warm market is all the people you already know and in these network marketing companies you are encouraged to make a list of people that you have a relationship with.

Honestly, I believe this is the best route to start generating MLM leads if you can create exceptionally large list of people who will become customers and business partners.

Your warm market can lead you to more MLM partners if they are looking to build a team as well.

Host informational webinars. I have attended more than enough webinars to say that I find them be great ways to generate free MLM leads online.  And what’s great about webinars is that you don’t have to appear on camera.

Unlike platforms such as YouTube where being seen can only boost your channel.

So, if you are camera shy then promoting webinars Is a great way to give valuable information and gain trust with potential customers without being on camera.

Create an eBook for FREE MLM leads. I believe that giving valuable information helps to get new leads. I created my first e-book called The Home Business Beginner’s Guide to educated inspiring entrepreneurs about businesses that they can start from home and make passive income.

E-Books are electronic books or just digital downloads that are easy to access.

I have several e-books that help me to collect names, numbers, and emails.

Create your first e-book on any subject and put it on your blog as a capture page to collect MLM then create an e-book that teaches people about the network marketing business and how they can generate network marketing leads.

For example, I create an e-book called The Professional Solopreneur to show entrepreneurs and small business owners how to how to get leads for FREE.

I did it so my e-book shares that step-by-step process with others who are wanting to get more customers without paying for marketing.

Start a podcasting – Podcasting is a great way to build an audience if you’re not a great writer and hate being on camera.

It’s that form of media that you can listen to while driving to work or taking a plane across the country.  You just need to know how to start a podcast show and create content that can really help MLM’ers solve their biggest problem.

The biggest problem that MLM reps have is generating MLM leads. So, podcasting can help teach, train and guide.

When promoted correctly, you can have new people wanting to know more about you and your business.  Not to mention you can promote your blog, events and webinars.

Start collecting emails – As you build your business you are going to find that collecting emails from potential buyer will greatly impact your business.

I remember when I heard the saying that the “money is in list”. Well, I must say I agree.

If you start collecting emails from the MLM leads that you generate then you greatly increase your chance of making more sales with a targeted list.

That list can be marketed to repeatedly and as you increase the number of emails you are able to make sales quicker because this list is targeted.

My e-mail marketing strategy consist of collecting emails by promoting my e-books and free social media training signups.  If you have a website, a YouTube channel or whatever you use to connect with your customer then here are some things you can offer them.

-PDF Guide, e-books, videos, and free downloads, free videos etc.

Don’t be afraid to research these marketing tips because most are a lot easier to put together than you think.

Ask for Referrals. Some of my best clients have been people that were referred to me by people you did not do business with me. Did you get that! I remember a friend of mine told me to always ask every client or customer if they know at least two other people who would be interested in my products.

I always felt like people would never give up their contacts boy was I wrong.  For every one client there were potentially two more people that could be my client. The point I’m making is to ask for referrals because that is another free lead that you would not have ever met if it was for your initial client.

Your client may know other people who share their same common interest.  So, be vocal and ask for referrals to generate new leads.

Go Live on Social Media. If you are not utilizing social media for you network marketing business, then you are deeply missing out.

If you thought the YouTube was an amazing creation, then checkout out social media sites because it is one of many ways to connect with people who you would have never met in person.

Social media sites have a power tool where you can record a “Live” video.  And “going live” on social media is the thing to do.  You can talk about whatever you want including your MLM business.
